Our story

Doing good work. Together.

Good Work Texas brings together nonprofits, businesses, churches, ministries, foundations, professionals and community leaders who are committed to doing good work in their communities. Nonprofits and mission-driven organizations stay at the heart of the mission — but meaningful community impact takes relationships across every sector.

Good Work is an active community, not simply a directory. Members connect across sectors, collaborate rather than compete, rally to meet real needs, and grow through relationships, practical resources, learning, and shared experience.

Regional connection. Statewide community. The vision is statewide — and it starts local. Montgomery County is our first regional Good Work community and the proving ground for the model. Strong local relationships will connect into one generous, action-oriented community across Texas.

Collaboration over competition

Community impact grows when organizations share ideas, experience, relationships, and opportunities.

Members set the agenda

Programs, gatherings, and resources come from what members ask for — not what looks good on a fundraising deck.

Start local. Learn together.

Montgomery County is our first regional community. What we learn here will shape how Good Work grows across Texas.
